STEPWISE

I'm interested in change where it actually happens: in everyday life.

Knowledge matters. But knowledge alone is rarely enough.

Most people have a good sense of what would do them good. The difficulty usually starts when it has to fit into an ordinary week.

So the question that interests me isn't only what people could do for their health. It's this: what helps someone actually live closer to what matters to them?

That covers movement, nutrition, recovery and mental wellbeing – along with the small decisions, habits and everyday conditions that make change easier or harder.

STEPWISE grew out of that question.

I don't believe in one perfect method for everyone.

People differ. So do their days, their experiences, their resources, the obstacles in front of them and the things they care about.

That's why good work on change starts, for me, with questions:

What have you tried already? When did it go better? What makes it hard? What matters to you? What helps? What have you got to build on? What could your next sensible step be?

Research gives us direction. Your experience shows us how to apply it in your life.

You don't have to change your whole life at once.

Sometimes change begins by looking more closely, trying something small and learning from what happens.

Live what matters. Step by step.
