STEPWISE
Live what matters. Step by step.
You usually know what would do you good. The harder part is making it work in everyday life.
STEPWISE helps you find out what actually works for you, and move step by step towards what matters to you.
Knowing isn't always the problem.
You probably have a fairly clear idea of what would do you good.
Move more. Eat differently. Sleep better. Make room for recovery. Do more of what genuinely matters to you.
The harder part is turning that into something that holds up in an ordinary week.
Because knowing alone doesn't change behaviour. Habits, time, energy, motivation, emotions, our surroundings and past experience all shape what we actually do.
That's where STEPWISE begins.
Not just: what should you be doing?
But: what could actually work for you, in your everyday life?
Health is interconnected.
How we move, eat and recover – and how we're doing psychologically – all pull on one another. So STEPWISE doesn't treat change as a set of separate habits. It looks at it in the context of your life.

Movement
Find ways to move that work for you and your everyday life.
Nutrition
available nowNutrition that fits your life. Change that works in real life.
Recovery
Make more room for sleep, recovery and ways of dealing with stress.
Mental wellbeing
Create more space for what gives you strength and genuinely matters to you.
Change isn't a test you have to pass.
It's a learning process.
Understand
What matters to you?
Try
What might work?
Experience
What actually happens?
Learn
What helps you – and what doesn't?
Adapt
What's your next step?
Not every attempt has to work. What doesn't work can still teach you something about what you need.
You can start today, moving your life step by step in the direction that matters to you.
Start with nutrition.
Psychological insight meets nutrition science.
Changing the way you eat often isn't about learning even more about what is supposed to be ‘healthy’.
The harder question is:
How do you turn what you know into change that actually works in everyday life?
My nutrition coaching brings together nutrition science with a psychological understanding of motivation, habits, barriers and behaviour change.

Why I founded STEPWISE
I’m Agnieszka Szymańska, psychologist and founder of STEPWISE.
In my work as a psychologist, I kept seeing the same thing:
Most people have a good sense of what would do them good. The real difficulty starts when it has to happen on an ordinary day.
That gap between knowing and doing is what interests me – along with the question of what helps people find changes that hold up in their actual lives.
With STEPWISE, I wanted to turn research into something more useful than another list of things we ‘should’ be doing: a process for finding out what works for you.
Grounded in science. Applied to real life.
STEPWISE draws on psychology, health psychology and behavioural science research into how health behaviour changes. In my work I also use approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology and solution-focused approaches.
Not as a rigid formula, but as a basis for one question: what might help this person, in this life, under these circumstances?
How we think about change.
With curiosity
We approach each person with curiosity.
With respect
We approach each person with respect.
With confidence that change is possible
We trust that change is possible.
Your next step doesn't have to be a big one.
If you'd like to change the way you eat, you can start today.
